IFA 2013 is about to kick off, but some of the most important products have already been announced and will arrive on the market by the end of the year.

Samsung, Sony, HTC, Lenovo, Alcatel and other handset makers have unveiled over the last couple of days their upcoming smartphones and tablets.

Samsung has introduced the Galaxy Note 3 to the world, along with its first smartwatch, the Galaxy Gear. For the time being, Samsung Galaxy Gear only works with the new Galaxy Note 3, but the South Korean company has promised that it will add more devices on the compatibility list.

In order to shed some light on how the two devices work when paired, Samsung has released an official hands-on video where some of the most important capabilities of Galaxy Note 3 and Galaxy Gear are shown.

Samsung has confirmed that the Galaxy Note 3 and Galaxy Gear will be available in more than 140 countries in late September, while Japan and the US will get them in October.
