With only a few weeks left until Samsung Galaxy S 4 is set to hit shelves in various countries, the South Korean handset maker released the first ads showing some of the phone’s software capabilities.

So far, the company launched three commercials focusing on Sound Shot, Group Play and S Translator, all of which are part of Galaxy S 4’s software core.

With the Group Play function, Galaxy S 4 users will be able to share multimedia files in real time without having to transfer anything between devices.

The S Translator, as the name suggests, takes both spoken and written words and translates them. The application supports several languages, but more will probably be added in the future.

Last but not least, the Sound Shot capability lets users take pictures with sounds in the background, thus making them more memorable.
