Officially unveiled yesterday, Vivo X5Pro has just been confirmed to arrive on the market on May 25. The smartphone will be available for purchase in either black or white, for just $420 (€365) outright.

As many of you have probably assumed, Vivo X5Pro will be initially released in China, where it will sell for 2598 yuan, a new report claims.

It's unclear whether or not Vivo plans to launch the X5Pro smartphone in other countries, nor when exactly it might happen.

However, we do know that the X5Pro is a gorgeous device that offers powerful specs, including a 5.2-inch Super AMOLED capacitive touchscreen display that supports full HD (1080) resolution and Corning Gorilla Glass coating.

The smartphone is equipped with a 1.7GHz octa-core MediaTek MT6752 processor, 2GB of RAM and 16GB of internal memory, which can be further expanded up to 64GB via microSD card slot.

Another strong point of the Vivo X5Pro is the 13-megapixel rear-facing camera that can take 32-megapixel pictures, as well as the 8-megapixel camera in the front that should take perfect selfies.

The smartphone comes with dual-SIM and 4G LTE support. It's also confirmed that the X5Pro will ship with Android 5.0-based FunTouch OS 2.1 right out of the box.
