Nokia might be moving to Microsoft's Windows Phone, but the company is still committed to offering support to those developers who come up with applications for its Symbian devices, and who have applications available for download via the Nokia Store.

Thus, the handset vendor is providing them with more options when it comes to monetizing the applications that they have already built by packing them with in-app purchasing.

In the video embedded above, devs will have a look at what the process of implementation of In-App Purchasing for Java MIDlet applications is all about.

“With Nokia Store achieving over 10 million downloads per day, driving revenue beyond paid downloads is essential. In app purchase helps you open new revenue streams, with virtual goods, subscriptions, try & buy, and beyond,” the company explains.
