14 DAY TRIAL // Creators of Viber for Windows Phone have just announced the upcoming availability of a new version of their application in Marketplace.
Viber 2.2 comes with some new features, improvements and bug fixes, which are meant to improve the overall performance of the application on Windows Phone devices.
One of the most important new features included with this update is Group Messaging, which allows users to send messages to groups.
According to the official changelog, the new version also features the ability to add personal photos to Contacts, as well as the option to assign custom backgrounds to text conversation screen.
Time stamps for each and every message on text conversations is included as well, along with the possibility to see when friends joined Viber inside Viber’s contact list. Keep in mind that Viber 2.2 for Windows Phone has yet to go live in Marketplace.
