One of the most downloaded applications on Google Play, Viber has just announced that a new version is now available for download.

Viber for Android has more than 50 million downloads and over 175 million users on all-important mobile platforms.

The most important change included in this update is the fact that the application now supports Intel-based devices. Aside from that, the latest update brings a fix for one-sided audio on several Xperia devices.

Last but not least, other bug fixes have been addressed, though developers have yet to offer more details on them.

The new Viber: Free Calls & Messages 2.3.6.338 is now available as a free download via Google Play Store and it should be fully compatible with all devices running Android 2.0 and up. Check it out here.
