Owners of Windows Phone devices can now download and install a new flavor of the Viber application, namely version 2.24.0.0.

The new app release comes with a series of enhancements over the new features that were packed inside it a few weeks back, and which included, among other, support for making voice calls with HD sound quality.

On Windows Phone 8 devices, Viber also comes with support for Lock Screen notifications, the option to pin conversations to the homescreen, and with support for 30 languages.

“Viber integrates with your phone to provide the best VoIP experience. It syncs with your contact list, automatically detecting which of your contacts already have Viber. Your phone number is your user ID, so you don’t need a username and password,” the app’s description reads.

Viber 2.24 should already be visible in the Windows Phone Store. If it doesn't appear there, check again in a couple of hours.
