Mobile phone carrier Verizon Wireless was rumored a while ago to plan the launch of a successor for its LG Lucid smartphone, one that would be nothing more than a modified Optimus F5, and it seems that it might unveil it as soon as this week.

The latest reports on the matter suggest that the carrier is getting ready for the official unveiling of this handset on April 4, with a series of enhancements packed inside, compared with both the original Optimus F5 that went official in February and with LG Lucid.

Thus, Verizon’s model might include a 2460 mAh battery inside, along with Android 4.1.2 Jelly Bean loaded on top right from the start.

The phone is also said to include a 4.3-inch screen and a dual-core 1.2 GHz Snapdragon S4 CPU, as well as a 1.3MP front camera for video calling.
