Verizon Wireless is one of the mobile phone carriers in the United States who went official this week with plans to add the new Galaxy S III smartphone to its offering.

However, the company did not mention a possible release date for the device, although others did unveil such specific information.

A recently leaked internal document from the company – available courtesy of Droid-life – has unveiled that pre-ordered smartphones from Verizon will ship to users on July 9th.

Provided that this date pans out, we should expect for the handset to be officially released at Verizon on the same day, although some suggested that it could become available for purchase on July 6th.

Sprint and T-Mobile already unveiled their intention to make the Galaxy S III available on June 21st, which would be two weeks earlier than Verizon’s leaked release date.
