Motorola DROID RAZR was launched in the United States back in November 2011 for $300 with a new two-year agreement from Verizon Wireless.

The handset maker also announced two additional color versions for the Verizon DROID RAZR, white and purple. While the white DROID RAZR is already available for purchase from Verizon, the purple version is expected to hit shelves on January 23.

The good news is that the purple DROID RAZR, as well as the black and white versions have been priced $100 cheaper than the initial $300 on a two-year term.

Starting today, Verizon is offering all three color versions of the Motorola DROID RAZR for only $199.99 with a new two-year agreement.

However, it appears that the cheaper DROID RAZR does NOT include the standard 16GB microSD memory card in the sales package.
