Verizon has just kicked off the rollout of a small update for the old Casio G'Zone Commando smartphone. Although the device has already been retired by the carrier, Casio still provides support for the G'Zone Commando.

According to the official changelog, this is just a small maintenance update that won't change or improve too many things.

However, we recommend Casion G'Zone Commando owners to update to the latest version in order to avoid any issues with the phone and for an improved overall experience. There are only two changes included in this update:

- Connectivity when using Push to Talk has been improved; - VCAST Music application has been removed.

Keep in mind that the update is pushed OTA (over the air), so not all Casio G'Zone Commando will receive it at the same time.
