Mobile phone carrier Verizon Wireless has managed to restore its 4G LTE services all around the country, after an outage hit its network yesterday.

The wireless carrier announced on Twitter that the 4G LTE network was back up and that users were actually able to enjoy 3G connectivity throughout the outage.

“Data service restored for all 4G customers after issue in AM. 3G devices were unaffected. Voice, text worked for all customers throughout,” the wireless carrier said on Twitter.

Unfortunately, the wireless carrier did not offer specific info on what caused the network to fail.

Even so, Verizon users are certainly happy that they are once again able to experience those fast data speeds that the carrier can deliver via its LTE airwaves and that they don’t need to rely on the slower 3G CDMA network.
