The mobile phone carrier Verizon Wireless is getting ready for the release of a new software update for the Motorola XOOM devices on its airwaves.

The new software update is set to be delivered to users as version HLK75H and is available for Motorola XOOM 4G LTE devices on the carrier’s airwaves.

Following the update, all devices will deliver support for “dual International Mobile Subscriber Identities (IMSI) to enhance International travel for mobile users.”

Moreover, the new software update is meant to ensure that data connectivity will properly restore after disabling Airplane Mode, the release notes read.

Recently, Motorola delivered a software update for the owners of Motorola XOOM WiFi devices. Apparently, users who are tied to Verizon’s network haven’t been forgotten either, though the update does not bring too many improvements. Hopefully, the Ice Cream Sandwich update will be pushed to them soon.
