Verizon Wireless doesn’t know how to charge its subscribers more. The carrier has just announced its “Usage Controls” service will be available for $4.99 per line per month.

With the new service, customers would be able to manage their accounts much easier. The new tools come in handy to those who want to check their megabyte usage and content purchases such as games, application downloads and ringtones.

The operator also offers an explanative video on how to set up the “Usage Controls” service and how to use it. It is called “How To: Manage Usage With Usage Controls from Verizon Wireless” and is accessible on the VerizonWirelessTV YouTube channel and in the Verizon Wireless Multimedia Library.

In the same news, Verizon also offers several tools and services for families, such as Content Filters and Service Blocks, which are free of charge.
