The next LTE-enabled tablet arriving at Verizon Wireless, the SCH-I705 is about to make its debut on the carrier's airwaves.
Also known as Samsung Galaxy Tab 2 (7.0), the tablet has been spotted at Bluetooth SIG more than a month ago. In the meantime, the Wi-Fi only tablet made its way into the market and is now available for purchase for only $250 USD (190 EUR).
The folks over at BriefMobile have just published a screenshot that confirms the SCH-I705 will be shipped with Android 4.0.4 Ice Cream Sandwich out of the box.
In addition, BriefMobile source claims the table is equipped with a Qualcomm processor clocked at 1.2 GHz, instead of the Exynos CPU included with the Wi-Fi only version.
Obviously, the reason behind Samsung's decision is the fact that its own chipset does not come with LTE support, which is a mandatory feature for Verizon's tablet.
