Owners of HTC Trophy devices on Verizon’s network can now download a new update for their devices, the wireless carrier has announced.

The software, none other than Windows Phone update 8107 that Microsoft pushed out a few months ago, will deliver a series of bug fixes for all users, along with various enhancements.

Among these, there is a fix for the keyboard issues that have been found to plague Microsoft’s mobile operating system, among others.

Additionally, the software update will deliver changes introduced in Windows Phone build 7740 and HTC-specific code, WPCentral reports.

Users will be notified on the availability of this new firmware, and they will be able to install it through the Zune application, via a desktop PC.

Before proceeding with the update, owners should backup all personal files on the device, to ensure that nothing is lost.
