14 DAY TRIAL // The old Pantech Marauder is about to receive its first major software update at Verizon Wireless. Lots of new features, improvements and bug fixed have already been confirmed on the Marauder in the coming days.
The Big Red has already approved the update and is likely to start the rollout in the next few weeks.
According to the official changelog, the update will bring the following new features and improvements to Pantech Marauder:
- Enhanced customers support with Verizon Remote Diagnostics; - Combined inbox added for multiple email accounts; - Airplane mode icon has been enlarged; - Conversation View has been added to email; - Chrome Browser has been added; - Outlook has been updated to create and manage tasks; - Merge call button has been added for 3-way call; - SD Card Encryption functionality has been added; - Weather widget has been updated; - Back Up Assistant Plus Media improvements have been made; - When voicemail icon is selected in simple mode, user will be prompted to subscribe to visual voicemail or allow the user to access Voicemail; - Device no longer power cycles due to a modem crash; - UI enhancements made to Simple Mode.
