Umeox is yet another mobile phone maker set to join the ranks of those who have launched smartphones packing 5-inch screens, and the company showcased such a smartphone at the Mobile World Congress 2013 this week in Barcelona.

The device is supposedly set to land on shelves sometime in May, capable of providing a full HD resolution, as well as with a MT6589 quad-core chip packed inside.

Furthermore, the new mobile phone will sport a 13-megapixel photo snapper on the back when released, capable of shooting videos in 1080p resolution. The Umeox device is also said to be only 8mm thick.

The company will also launch a 720p 5-inch smartphone, also quad-core, with a 2500 mAh battery inside, a 3MP front camera, and an 8-megapixel photo snapper on the back, it seems. This is the device in the photos attached to this article, courtesy of GizChina.
