Mobile phone carrier US cellular has announced plans to begin shipments of pre-ordered Galaxy S III units as soon as next week.
Moreover, the company announced that it planned to begin the in-store shipments soon after that.
“Good news! We'll begin shipping the GSIII pre-orders next week, with in store shipments to follow,” the wireless operator said on Twitter.
US Cellular will be the fifth carrier in the United States to ship the Galaxy S III to its customers, after T-Mobile, Sprint and AT&T have already made the move, and following Verizon’s launch on July 10th.
Galaxy S III, the latest flagship smartphone from Samsung, comes with a 4.8-inch touchscreen display, a dual-core 1.5Ghz CPU, LTE capabilities, 16GB/32GB of internal memory, an 8-megapixel photo snapper on the back, and a 1.9MP camera on the front.
