We have just been informed by the folks over at UC Web that the iOS version of their popular UC Browser application will receive a major software update in March.

Although the application hasn’t been updated in more than a year, UC Web promises iOS users new features and smoother functionality.

The developers confirmed plans to port some of the most popular features that are now available in the Android version on the iOS, but they will also include new ones that have yet to be added to the Android iteration.

We can confirm that the following features will be included within UC Browser 8.0 for iOS: RSS reader, Quick Dial, Share to Evernote, Facebook, Twitter (more services will be added in later versions), as well as a “sync function.”

Keep in mind that these are only several new features that will be available in the upcoming UC Browser for iOS. More may be added until closer to the release date.
