Twitter’s developers have just updated the Android client with several improvements and bug fixes. A handful of new features and tweaks have been added as well, though only a few have been detailed.

For example, the latest version of the application comes with improved Top Tweets feature which allows users to see more Tweets about a topic during a certain time when they tap on one of the results in the search category.

The Discover feature has been enhanced as well and now shows a new, smoother animation when users pull-to-refresh for more content.

Last but not least, lots of other bug fixes and improvements have been included in the update, but no additional details are available for the moment.

Twitter 3.8.0 is now available as a free download via Google Play Store and it should be fully compatible with all devices running Android 2.1 and up. Check it out here.
