14 DAY TRIAL // A new flavor of Twitter for Android application is now available for download for the owners of devices running under Android 2.1 or newer flavors of the operating system.
Released on July 10 as version 3.3.0, the new application flavor brings along new features and various tweaks, all meant to deliver a better experience to all users.
Thus, users will be able to enjoy Push notifications for Tweets, which enables them to set the app to receive notifications from people they follow at all times when they tweet or retweet something.
The app also brings enhancements to the search autocomplete, as well as tappable avatars that will take users directly to a person’s profile.
Twitter for Android 3.3 also brings along expanded tweets, with content previews for tweets with links (it also enables viewing of images, or playing videos). Bug fixes, polishes and more are also available.
