14 DAY TRIAL // The long-awaited 2.0 update for Twitch application for Android platform has just arrived and brings the full chat experience to mobile devices.
With the latest version of Twitch, users will be able to chat using their Android devices, while on the go. In addition, the new update “enables monetization opportunities” for Twitch partners.
Lots of bug fixes have been included in the update as well, but no additional details have been provided yet. Last but not least, due to the latest changes, Twitch now requires Android 4.0 or later in order to run smoother.
According to the developers, “the Twitch experience on these older devices was not good and supporting them was holding back development of the app.”
You can now download Twitch for Android 2.0 for free via Google Play Store. As we have mentioned earlier, the application is now compatible with all devices running Android 4.0 and up.
