Good news for Tweetium users, as developers have just announced a new update is available for download. Those who already have the third-party Twitter client installed on their Windows Phone handsets should check for the update in Windows Phone Store.

Judging by the short changelog that come with the release, this isn't a major update. However, this doesn't mean that it's not important, especially that it fixes some issues reported by users.

The only improvement made by developers is the addition of previewing quoted tweets support, which wasn't available until this version of Tweetium.

The new feature comes in line with the latest feature introduced by Twitter recently, which allows users to embed quoted tweets without losing anything from the character limit.

According to the official changelog, developers also fixed two rare crashed reported by users. Last but not least, the update should address a problem which could sometimes cause Tweetium to fail to load from a notification for a different account than the last one used.

You can now download Tweetium for Windows Phone 3.3.4 for $2.99 via Windows Phone Store. Keep in mind that the application should be fully compatible with all devices powered by Windows Phone 8.1 and up.
