Bad news for Android fans who pre-ordered the Galaxy Nexus from Three UK, as the carrier has just announced that the smartphone has been delayed for November 22.

According to Three UK, the carrier was forced to postpone the launch of the Galaxy Nexus, which was scheduled for November 17, due to stock delays.

One of the carrier's official tweeted the delay of the smartphone: “For anyone who pre-ordered Galaxy Nexus y’day, due to stock delays your delivery has changed to 22/11. We’ll call you by 8pm with more info.”

Obviously, there's no telling if the carrier will receive the first stock of Galaxy Nexus units on November 22, so we should wait for more updates on the matter.

It will be interesting to see if other UK-based carriers that confirmed they will offer the Galaxy Nexus will be able to deliver the smartphone on schedule or not.
