CES 2015 is just a week away and most important players in the industry are going to be present at the event with new products.

HTC has recently popped up in the rumor mill in connection with its upcoming flagship smartphone Hima (or M9 One).

And even if word on the street indicated that Hima would be unveiled during a standalone event between CES and MWC 2015, it now appears this will not be the case.

According to a certain Weibo user, HTC has already started sending out invites for its CES 2015 press event, teasing a smartphone with a huge camera.

The device is splashed with different colors, probably indicating a handset with a great display and an advanced shooter.

Hima’s specs leaked a while ago, revealing a flagship with a 5-inch display and 1920 x 1080 pixel resolution and powered by a Snapdragon 810 processor fitted with 3GB of RAM.

The handset runs Android 5.0 Lollipop with Sense 7.0 on top. As for photography, we expect to see Hima don a 20.7MP rear-facing camera and either a 13MP or 4MP UltraPixel secondary camera.

The handset will arrive in gray, silver, gold and gunmetal gold. Come CES 2015, we will see if Hima goes official or whether HTC will unveil a new-mid range Desire smartphone series instead (the colors in the leaked images might suggest so).
