The Android handset goes for only $149 contract free

Australian wireless services provider Telstra has just made a new smartphone available for purchase in its pre-paid offering, namely the LG Optimus Spirit.

Running under the Android 2.3 operating system, the new device can easily prove a great option for all users looking for an affordable new handset. At Telstra, the new device features a price tag of $149 (around 110 Euros) outright.

Although affordable, the new device still has appealing features and capabilities to offer to those who will purchase it, including an 800MHz application processor, a 3.2” capacitive touch screen, and a 3 mega-pixel camera.

The handset also comes with a microSD memory card slot with support for up to 32GB of additional storage space, as well as 3G, WiFi and Bluetooth connectivity capabilities.
