It looks like Canadian carrier TELUS delayed the release of the Android 4.0 Ice Cream Sandwich update for HTC Amaze 4G. Originally planned for May 28, the update has been pushed to the end of the week.

The carrier confirmed the information on its official Twitter account: “HTC Amaze 4G users: there's been a last min delay in the ICS software upgrade, now expected end of week.”

No explanation has been given for this delay, but there might be some minor issues involved that TELUS discovered while testing the update.

TELUS recently refreshed its Android 4.0 ICS upgrade schedule with new, estimated release dates for various devices, including Galaxy S II X, Galaxy Note, Galaxy Tab 10.1, Galaxy Tab 8.9, LG Optimus LTE and Sony Ericsson Xperia ray. More info on this is available here.
