Canadian carrier TELUS pushed back the long-awaited Android 4.0 Ice Cream Sandwich for Samsung Galaxy Tab slates once again.

Although Galaxy Tab 10.1 and Galaxy Tab 8.9 were scheduled to receive the Ice Cream Sandwich upgrade this month, it looks like TELUS delayed the update for September. Apparently the update has yet to be submitted by Samsung, which means this is not TELUS' fault.

According to TELUS OS upgrade schedule, Samsung Galaxy Tab 10.1 and Galaxy Tab 8.9 are expected to receive the Ice Cream Sandwich upgrade next month, though we don't have an excat release date yet.

Unfortunately, these new release dates are also subject to change, so the updates might be delayed once again. However, we expect TELUS to offer more details on these updates closer to release. Stay tuned for more info on the matter.
