It appears that HTC One X is not the only device affected by various bugs from day one. Recently launched in the United States via T-Mobile USA, the HTC One S is an excellent Android phone.

However, it looks like the smartphone is plagued by a weird issue that drains its battery much faster than it should. Fortunately, this only happens when using the Wi-Fi calling feature.

Although there are no additional details on the cause of the issue, it’s certain that most devices are affected by this Wi-Fi calling bug. This is why T-Mobile and HTC have a patch in the works that should correct this problem.

The carrier already confirmed the upcoming release of the fix on its support site, and also offered a temporary solution for the bug. Simply keep the phone plugged in to charge to reduce battery drain while using W-Fi calling.
