Indian telecom carrier Sunstrike has just announced the immediate availability of yet another entry-level Android smartphone, the Rage Swift.

Opposite to what its name might suggest, the smartphone does not look to be too “swift” when it comes to performance, on the contrary. Rage Swift has been confirmed to sport a small 3.5-inch qHD (540 x 960 pixels) capacitive touchscreen display (is this even possible?).

According to NDTV Gadgets, Sunstrike did not share any details on the phone’s processor and amount of RAM and storage. However, the carrier did say that the Rage Swift packs a 1.3-megapixel rear-facing camera with LED flash and video recording, as well as a secondary VGA camera for selfies.

It is also worth mentioning that Sunstrike’s Rage Swift will be powered by Android 4.4 KitKat operating system out of the box and a more than decent 1600 mAh battery.

The Indian carrier also announced that it would offer a free Crystal Cover to all customers who purchase the Rage Swift through its official retailer channels.

Speaking of which, Rage Swift will be available for purchase via Sunstrike for only Rs 2,999 outright, which is about $50 or €35. Do you plan on getting this dual-SIM entry-level Android smartphone offered by Sunstrike Telecom?
