Owners of Windows Phone 8 devices can now download and install a new messaging application on their devices, namely Steam Chat.

The new software has been under development at SureSoft Solutions for several months now, but has already arrived on Microsoft’s platform, enabling users to easily stay connected with their Steam Friends.

Through the new Windows Phone 8 app, users will be able to see what their friends are playing, engage in chats with them, and receive Push Notifications when a new message is available.

“Steam Chat lets you chat to and manage your Steam Friends. Using the official Steam Service, login and chat away to your Steam Friends from anywhere. Push notifications will be displayed when a message is received,” the app’s description reads.

The new software is available on this page on Windows Phone Store, priced at $1.95, €1.49, £1.29. Users will also be able to try the application for free.
