Today, wireless carrier Sprint officially announced the upcoming availability of the Sprint Vital smartphone on its network, only several days after the device leaked online.

The new handset will become available for purchase at the wireless carrier on June 14 with a price tag of $99.99 (€75) attached to it, with the signing of a two-year contract agreement and after a $50 mail-in rebate.

The new device arrives on shelves with a 5-inch HD 1280 x 720 IPS touchscreen, a 1.5GHz dual-core processor inside, a 13-megapixel photo snapper on the back, and a 1MP front camera for making video calls.

The specifications list of the new device also includes a 2500 mAh removable Lithium-Ion battery, support for Sprint’s 4G LTE network, and Google’s Android 4.1.2 Jelly Bean platform loaded on top.

Furthermore, Sprint notes that the new device will land on shelves with EA Mobile's Real Racing 3 game loaded right from the start, with more than 45 cars packed inside, coming from Porsche, Lamborghini, Dodge, Bugatti and Audi.
