The carrier has already started building the network in some markets

Mobile phone carrier Sprint is getting ready to expand its 4G LTE network in a great deal of new markets in the coming months, including Chicago, Boston, New York and Los Angeles.

In fact, the operator has unveiled plans to make its fourth-generation network available in more than 100 other markets in the same period of time.

“These efforts are part of the Sprint Network Vision project, which is expected to be largely completed by the end of 2013,” the company explains.

At the moment, Sprint is testing the network in said markets, and it is also inviting users with 4G-capable devices to participate. The carrier will unveil specific info on launch dates, performance and the like in the near future.
