Sprint has just announced the availability of new data plans for mobile broadband device, which are meant to be more competitive when put against other carriers' offers.

While Verizon Wireless and AT&T offer 5GB of data usage for US$50 per month, Sprint offers 6GB of data usage for the same price.

Furthermore, Sprint offers a new $79.99 per month plan that nets subscribers 12GB of data usage, whereas Verizon offers only 10GB for the same price.

In addition, the carrier introduced two new plans available for tablets and mobile hotspot devices, which are available for $34.99 per month for 3GB of data usage, and for $19.99 per month that offers 1GB of data usage.

All four plans introduced are meant to replace all previously available data plans and are available available to both new and existing customers starting today.
