Good news for Samsung Galaxy S4 owners who have purchased their smartphones through Sprint's official channels, as the carrier is now pushing a maintenance update that resolves some of the bugs previously reported by users.

Although it's not a major update, software update MK2 is meant to address a critical bug found inside Samsung Galaxy S4's software.

According to the official changelog, Samsung plans to resolve all sleep mode issues with Sprint Galaxy S4 by offering this update.

Keep in mind that software update MK2 is pushed OTA (over the air) in waves, so it might take a while to reach all Sprint Galaxy S4 units.

Those who have yet to be notified on the update can manually check for it by going to Settings / About devices / Software update / Update.
