Owners of devices running under Google’s Android operating system are now able to download a new flavor of Sprinkle, game that managed to impress courtesy of its realistic water physics.

Following this update, users can enjoy a number of twelve new levels in Sprinkle, all complemented by a winter theme.

Moreover, the new game release brings along support for the PlayStation controls that Sony Ericsson’s Xperia PLAY smartphone arrived on shelves with.

Sprinkle has reached version 1.7 now, and is available for all devices that run under Google’s Android 2.3 Gingerbread or newer platform releases. It is available for download via the Android Market and weighs in at 25MB.

For those out of the loop, we should note that this is a brain-teasing game in which users will have to fight fires, move obstacles, and spin wheels, all only through the use of a water cannon mounted on a crane.
