The popular “Sports Tracker” application for Nokia devices will soon make the jump on Microsoft’s Windows Phone platform.

Initially launched in 2004, the application is almost ready to go live in the Marketplace, as the developers have been racing to get it done as soon as possible.

With “Sports Tracker” users can turn their mobile phones into a social sport computer and analyze their performance while on the move.

However, the Windows Phone version will offer more features, including training diary and sync to web with social sharing on Facebook and Twitter.

The fitness application “Sports Tracker” is expected to be released tomorrow for the Nokia Lumia 800 and 710. To celebrate the event, the developers will be launching a competition on their Facebook page to win a Nokia Lumia 800.
