Taiwanese mobile phone maker HTC Corporation has made available for download the source code for the 3.22.1540.1 update that started to arrive on HTC One Developer Edition units a few days ago.

Based on Android 4.3 Jelly Bean, the firmware was meant to provide users with a new experience while on the go, courtesy of both a new platform version and of enhancements to the Sense UI.

Those who would like to download the code should head over to this page on the HTCDev website. The zipped file weighs 1.1GB.

In addition to making the Android 4.3 Jelly Bean update available to the Developer Edition of HTC One, the handset vendor also started pushing it to regular devices in Taiwan and other markets.

It should offer the new firmware to all users out there in the near future, though some users might receive it at a later date, depending on the carrier they are on.
