Sony Xperia Z1 has recently made its debut on the market and the Japanese company has just released the first software update for its flagship smartphone.

XperiaBlog reports that firmware version 14.1.G.1.531 is now rolling out in India to Sony Xperia Z1 (C6902) units, but it will likely go live worldwide in the next few days.

Unfortunately, the update does not come with a changelog attached to it, so we can’t say for sure how it is changing the phone’s behavior.

We suspect that this is just a minor update that brings some small improvements, bug fixes, tweaks and enhancements.

The Xperia Z1 has been released with Android 4.2.2 Jelly Bean operating system onboard, but Sony is expected to offer an Android 4.3 or Android 4.4 KitKat upgrade in the coming months. Stay tuned for more updates on the matter.
