Sony Canada has already confirmed that the Xperia Z1 will be available at all major carriers across the country, but the Japanese company has not offered any details on the smartphone’s pricing options.

However, MobileSyrup reports that TELUS will sell the flagship Android smartphone beginning October 15 for no less than $725 (€515) outright. According to an internal TELUS document, customers will also be able to purchase the handset for as low as $100 (€70) on 2-year contracts.

In the same piece of news, Bell Canada will also launch the Xperia Z1 for $700 (€500) off contract, which makes it slightly more affordable than TELUS’ version.

Sony Xperia Z1 will ship with Android 4.2 Jelly Bean operating system out of the box and a powerful 2.2 GHz quad-core processor. Other highlights of the phone include 20.7-megapixel rear-facing camera, 5-inch display and 2GB of RAM.
