Sony Mobile is planning the release of its Sony Xperia T3 smartphone on shelves in Germany, and it has already confirmed some details on the matter, it seems.

Apparently, the handset will be released in this country with the name of Xperia Style attached to it and will also be available exclusively on the network of wireless carrier Deutsche Telekom, Sony Germany revealed in a blog post.

The smartphone was also confirmed with a price tag of €349 ($473), SIM-free. According to Sony Mobile, the phone will land on shelves in Germany starting with the next month in Black, Purple, and White color flavors.

As XperiaBlog notes, it’s yet uncertain why Sony chose to change the name of this smartphone in this country, and it remains to be seen whether it will make a similar move in other markets out there as well.

For those out of the loop, we should note that Sony Xperia T3 was made official with a 5.3-inch IPS touchscreen display that can deliver a 720p resolution, as well as with a 1.4GHz quad-core Snapdragon 400 chipset.

Moreover, the mobile phone sports 1GB of RAM, 8GB of internal memory, microSD memory card slot, a 2500mAh battery, and an 8-megapixel Exmor RS camera on the back. The handset is only 7mm thick and sports a steel frame.
