Although the Xperia go is already available for pre-order in the UK through multiple retailers, few carriers confirmed the upcoming availability of the smartphone.

Today, O2 UK refreshed its “Coming Soon” page with a new device, the Xperia go. According to O2, Sony Xperia go is expected to go on sale sometime this month, though the operator does not unveil an exact release date.

There are no pricing options available for the moment, but we already know the Xperia go can now be pre-ordered for around 220 GBP (340 USD or 275 EUR) outright. However, we expect the smartphone will be available for free on select plans.

Sony Xperia go will be shipped with Android 2.3 Gingerbread operating system, but the Japanese company plans to release an Ice Cream Sandwich upgrade soon after launch. Check it out here.
