An updated flavor of the new Lifelog application is now available for download for Sony’s Xperia devices, namely version 2.0.A.0.12, bringing along a nice range of enhancements over the previous iteration.

Considering the fact that the app was previously available as version 1.0.A.1.8, the big change in the build number suggests right from the start that this is a major update.

Apparently, things are indeed so, as the new application release comes to devices with additional activity recognition, including transportation and bicycle.

Moreover, the new software iteration will provide users with the possibility to easily change the activity type, a recent post on XperiaBlog explains.

One thing that should be noted right from the start, however, is the fact that both of these features were made available only for the owners of Xperia smartphones.

However, other enhancements are also available in the new application version, such as male and female avatars, and the possibility to delete single activities. At the same time, the Lifelog application now allows users to customize activity boxes in the dashboard (to either show or hide them).

We should also note that Sony has released the Lifelog application in the Google Play store a while ago. However, you will need a Sony SmartBand SWR10 to enjoy its capabilities.
