Sony Mobile is apparently getting ready for the release of more handsets on the US market, and another such device has just made an appearance at the FCC.

Featuring model number LT29i ‘Hayabusa,’ this phone is believed to be none other than the Sony Xperia GX (SO-04D), which is set to land on shelves at NTT DoCoMo in Japan in the near future.

Only a few details were revealed on this device through the FCC filing, such as the fact that it will pack penta-band 3G radios, with HSPA speeds inside.

If this is indeed the Xperia GX (SO-04D), the device should sport a 1.5GHz dual-core MSM8960 chipset, along with 1GB of RAM and 16GB of internal memory.

Moreover, it would feature a 4.55-inch touchscreen display of 720 x 1280 resolution, along with a 13-megapixel photo snapper on the back, and a 1.3MP camera on the front, for video calls.
