Sony is expected to launch a range of Android smartphones next week at the Mobile World Congress (MWC) 2014, but we're still not sure how many devices will be announced at the trade fair.

There's a high chance that the Japanese company will introduce its new flagship smartphone, possibly named Xperia Z2. Some mid-range handsets are also a possibility, especially that several unannounced devices have already leaked online.

The latest device that popped up at FCC (Federal Communication Commission) is called Sony D230X “Eagle” and is likely to be released globally in the coming months.

XperiaBlog reports that the smartphone has just passed through the FCC with both single-SIM and dual-SIM versions. Obviously, the latter will only be available in some emerging markets like China and India.

The single-SIM model will pack either HSPA+ or LTE and will be available in Europe and North America, respectively. Stay tuned for more updates on the matter.
