14 DAY TRIAL // While Sony initially confirmed plans to deliver an Android 4.0 Ice Cream Sandwich upgrade for Xperia S in the latter part of Q2, one of company’s officials happily announced that the update might arrive earlier than expected, in late May or early June.
However, it appears that the same official now says he “mixed things up” and that Sony won’t be able to deliver the promised Ice Cream Sandwich update until late June.
Apparently, only 2011 Xperia phones will get the Android 4.0 ICS update during late May / early June time frame, but the Xperia S will be getting it afterwards.
So, instead of bringing good news, Sony reconfirmed the late June delivery of the Android 4.0 Ice Cream Sandwich for Xperia S. Stay tuned for more updates on the matter.
