14 DAY TRIAL // SEGA officially revealed the original Sonic the Hedgehog classic arcade will arrive on Android platform next month. The game will be available for purchase via Google Play store for only $2.99/€1.99.
Developed by Christian Whitehead, the same person in charge with the Sonic CD port for Android, the game will come with additional features, such as new Time Attack mode, widescreen support and remastered soundtrack.
In the same piece of news, AndroidPolice reports SEGA plans to release Sonic the Hedgehog 2 on Android as well, but there are no additional details on the upcoming title.
There’s more as SEGA announced during Game Developers Conference (GDC), it will launch mobile versions of Puzzle Pirates, House of the Dead: Overkill – The Lost Files and Godsrule. Stay tuned for more info on the matter.
