SEGA has just announced that a major update is now available for its Sonic Dash smash hit for Android devices, which brings new content to players.

First and foremost, the latest update adds Sonic's Arch-rival Dr. Eggman, who will put players' reflexes to the test as they dodge, dive and dash past a plethora of explosives and deadly traps.

Players who get passed the ultimate boss battle will earn a massive score bonus to help them get ahead of their friends' leaderboard positions.

Furthermore, developers have also confirmed that the next Sonic Dash global challenge will begin on February 21 and players will once again have to work together to unlock a brand new playable character.

You can now download Sonic Dash for Android for free via Google Play Store. Keep in mind that the game should be fully compatible with most devices powered by Android 2.3.3 and up.
