Xbox Music will now appear in Charts and My Shazam

Music lovers obsessed to find out info on every tune they hear while on the move will be pleased to know that Shazam, the application that allows them to do that, has just received an important update on Windows Phone platform.

The most important improvement is the Xbox Music integration, which means Shazam users will now see Xbox Music appear in Charts and My Shazam with more to choose from.

Additionally, users will be able to preview their favorite Shazams with Xbox Music Playback and get recommended songs based on their Shazams.

But that's not all. According to developers, the latest update introduces a new option that allows users to add their favorite songs from Charts to My Shazam. Users can also buy any tracks from Xbox Music with Shazam for Windows Phone.

It's also worth mentioning that those who have access to Cortana will be able to ask here to “Shazam this” and instantly start identifying music while on the go.

If you don't have the application installed yet, you can now download Shazam for Windows Phone for free via Windows Phone Store. The application should be fully compatible with all devices powered by Windows Phone 7.5 and up.
